These awards have been established by the Gielow Family Foundation to recognize and honor those individuals and/or groups who, in the judgement of the Board of Directors, are particularly deserving for their dedication to the cause of freedom in America today. It's gratifying to note there are many individuals and groups deserving of these Awards; individuals and groups striving tirelessly on behalf of American traditions and ideals to right wrongs, alert the public to the enemies of freedom, and influence policy so this country can be returned to its foundation of conservative principles. Friend-of-Freedom Awards are intended to give particular attention to individuals and groups who, to date, have received insufficient recognition for their dedication, sacrifice, and service. The world is a better place because of the work these people do and have done. They are inspirations for other Americans who long for, and strive to make our country, a place where freedom once again flourishes, indeed, where freedom reigns. |
