"National security and safety should rank higher on our scale of priorities than tourism dollars, ethnic voting blocs, filling graduate universities with foreign students, low-wage workers for multinationals and agriculture, and kowtowing to liberal dogmas. Entry into the United States is a privilege, not a right, and the safety of our citizens is more important than the convenience of foreigners. . . ."Congress is pressured hard to do nothing [about the continuing influx of terrorists into America] by ethnicity lobbyists, big corporations, the travel industry, the universities, and open-borders activists, all of whom want to keep the flow of alien visitors coming into our country regardless of the national security danger. Our government regularly allows foreign students and visitors to overstay their visas. Our government has failed to implement an effective tracking system to monitor their whereabouts and order them to leave when their visas expire. . . . "The State Department is accepting this year's entries into the Diversity Visa Lottery program, which allows 50,000 lucky foreigners from non-Western (including terrorist-sponsored) countries to win permanent U.S. residency. This law is one of the worst pieces of legislation ever championed by Ted Kennedy. The Fourth of July murderer at the Los Angeles airport was in the United States because his wife won legal residence through this Diversity Visa Lottery Law. A good start on homeland security would be to repeal the Diversity Lottery. . . . "The change that 9/11 should have brought about (but hasn't yet) is our government's realization that national security requires us to repudiate the new religion whose gods are diversity and multiculturalism, and which decrees that profiling is the wost sin anyone can commit. Today there are nearly 1.5 million persons born in the Middle East living in the United States plus their 570,000 U.S.-born children. Thirty years ago, only 15% of Middle Eastern immigrants were Muslims; the rest were mostly Christians. "Just as the ground of the Founders' natural rights theory was a conception of human nature, the ground of the modern rejection of natural rights was a denial of human nature. . . ."If human beings are nothing on their own, it follows that they can do nothing on their own. Intelligence, talents, and virtues, as well as rights -- all the things the Founders said humans were born with -- must be produced by the social order. . . . "This theory reverses the relationship between the people and the government: rather than the people delegating power to the government, the government has to empower the people. . . The government of the New Deal in the 1930s worried about the needs and disabilities of workers, whereas today's government worries about the needs and disabilities of racial minorities, homosexuals, the disabled, and women. In all of these cases, the new role of government is to give those whom it considers most needy or disabled better treatment and others worse. "In short, the denial of human nature leads from an understanding of equality in terms of natural rights to an understanding of equality as something to be produced by government through unequal treatment. President Lyndon Johnson officially announced this new conception in a speech at Howard University in 1965: 'We seek . . . not just equality as a right and a theory but equality as a fact and equality as a result. "To achieve 'equality as a result,' rights had to be redefined. Rather than being rightful claims to one's own possessions, rights in the new view are rightful claims to the resources of others. Thus, rather than speak as the Founders did of rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, Americans today speak of rights to housing and education and medical care and food stamps. In essence, 'rights' have come to mean that people who are not as hard working, as talented, or responsible, or as fortunate have rightful claims on the money and resources of others. "Two other differences between the Founders' and the modern liberal view of rights should be noted. First, according to the Founders, rights adhere to individuals, whereas rights today are customarily assigned according to group membership (blacks, women, farmers, students, the elderly, etc.). Second, rights today are assigned: they are not seen as existing prior to government, but as government gifts. "These two understandings are mutually exclusive. One of the clearest public admissions of this came from a 1987 Supreme Court case: A man sued a government agency that had give a job to a woman who was admittedly less qualified. Justice William Brennan, speaking for the court, asked 'whether the agency plan unnecessarily trammeled the rights of male employees' (emphasis added). His answer was no. In other words, modern liberals believe that it is perfectly acceptable for the government to trammel the rights of some citizens in order to give benefits to other citizens believed by government to be more worthy or more needy." -- Excerpts from The Rise and Fall of Constitutional Government in America, by Thomas G. "[T]he Palestinian national movement is just a masquerade for the destruction of Israel."After their humiliating defeat by Israel in 1967, the Arabs changed tactics. They decided that the best approach to undermining the Jewish state was a long-term unconventional war. The 'Palestinians,' under the command of Moscow-trained Arafat, were more than happy to serve as the spear-carriers in that war of attrition. . . . "There was no serious movement for a Palestinian state. That movement was, and is, an invention of those who seek to destroy Israel. There is no other reason for the creation of an Arab state under Arafat than to destabilize Israel. . . . "The Arabs have built 261 settlements in the West Bank since 1967. Not much is aid about those settlements. But a great deal is heard about the number of Jewish settlements that have been created, how destabilizing they are, how provocative they are. Yet, by comparison, only 144 Jewish settlements have been built since 1967 -- including those surrounding Jerusalem, in the West Bank and tin Gaza. . . . "If Israel's policies make life so intolerable for Arabs, why do they continue to flock to the Jewish state? "Arabs outnumber Jews in the Middle East by a factor of about 100 to one. But how many of those hundreds of millions of Arabs are actually Palestinians? Not very many. . . . . "Arabs already control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands, whereas Israel represents one-tenth of 1 percent of the landmass. . . . "Despite the fact that there is nary a news story about Jerusalem that doesn't refer to it as the 'third holiest city in Islam,' it is just not true. In fact, the Koran says nothing about Jerusalem. It mentions Mecca hundreds of times. It mentions Medina countless times. It never mentions Jerusalem -- and with good reason. There is no historical evidence to suggest Mohammed ever visited Jerusalem. . . . "If Israel loses [the conflict], the Islamic revolution goes worldwide. The target is no longer Jerusalem. It's Washington. "So, whether you are concerned about the rising body count in the Mideast or not, this conflict will come home some day. . . "A few decades ago Afrikaner farmers of South Africa exported enough food to feed all of the countries in the southern half of Africa. They built churches, schools, universities and hospitals and trained indigenous people to staff them. There was almost no unemployment. In 1994, under pressure of the U.S. and the U.N., the country was surrendered to the Communist-dominated African National Congress, run by black terrorists. Today the country is a basket case, with 40% unemployment, and the murder rate running at 27,000 a year. Black thugs and terrorists are invading white farms destroying crops, killing black farm workers and murdering white farmers and their families. Nearly 900 white farmers in 5,000 attacks have been killed since ANC rule began in 1994. In the old South Africa you could walk in complete safety anywhere in the downtown areas of the large cities with no fear at all. Now a woman is raped every 28 seconds. Doctors are fleeing in droves. Parks and beaches have become killing fields. At a recent public meeting young black hoodlums held up a banner proclaiming: 'Killing white Farmers Is Affirmative Action.' "For close to an hour on October 3rd, private citizen Bill Clinton addressed the British Labor Party's annual conference in Blackpool, England. . . ."[W]hat Bill Clinton [said] earns him the distinctive label of anti-American. Identifying himself as a 'citizen of the world,' he repeatedly called for an 'integrated global community,' which would result if all join together 'to make the United Nations a more meaningful, more powerful, more effective institution.' . . . "Clinton's love for the UN dominated his remarks. He said the hope for 'a truly global community of people together in peace' didn't even materialize until 'the creation of the United Nations and the issuance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.' Abandoning his own nation's Declaration of Independence and its unambiguous assertion that man's 'unalienable rights' are given by 'their Creator,' he saluted the UN Declaration, which does not acknowledge God and boldly asserts that men's 'rights and freedoms may in no case be exercised contrary to the purposes and principles of the United Nations.' "It is obvious that Clinton opposes the very concept of independent nations, despite his solemn oath to 'preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.' Now that he is no longer seeking votes, he can boldly tell an audience in England that he is committed to the 'interests of the world' and to an 'integrated global community.' "Since January 22, 1973, the act of murdering tiny boys and girls, referred to as abortion, has been decriminalized. This act takes the life of an innocent person. This act is protected by the law."The United States Supreme Court, representing America's most authoritative body, charged with the task of meting out justice, has consistently endorsed the concept of a mother deciding whether or not she is with child or with problem. The Court sanctions her choice to have her child murdered by another person. "As a consequence, there is no justice for the innocent in the United States, even though the proper role of the judiciary, according to our Founding Fathers, is to defend the weak and protect the person from the unjust aggression of another human being. "Shortly, some time in the next year, the U.S. will launch an all-out attack on Iraq designed to finish the war we should have finished a decade ago. The objective will be to hunt down Saddam Hussein and his inner circle and kill them all, while simultaneously locating and destroying his growing stockpile of weapons of mass destruction. "At Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where the military's special forces and paratroopers are trained, the Army has been ordered to protect all the trees in which endangered birds might now have or want to build [a] nest. Fort Bragg's 130,000 acres is covered with trees. That's what makes it an effective training facility for Special Forces. The protection order means trainees must keep away from all the trees."General George Keane, Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, reported to Congress that 'we have a 250 foot buffer ground each tree.' Solders cannot make noise in order to protect ['endangered' species] nests. Said General Keane, 'There can be no bivouacking or occupation for more than two hours at a time, no use of camouflage, no weapons fired other than 762 and 50 caliber blank ammunition, no use of generators or riot agents, no use of smoke grenades and no vehicles closer than 50 feet.' "Training for amphibious landing is severely controlled at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina because of beach restrictions during turtle-nesting season. In addition, a rare species of woodpecker makes inland training nearly impossible. "At Camp Pendleton, California, Marines aren't allowed to practice digging foxholes because environmental restrictions forbid it on the huge base. As a result, reports are now coming in from the combat zones in Afghanistan that Marines don't know how to dig foxholes. The Marine Corp spends about $20 million a year and employs a staff of environmental experts to be sure that it's in compliance on the 125,000 acre Camp Pendleton. "In short, America's military might is being diminished through the enforcement of radical environmental restrictions. The noose is being tightened by green ideologues armed with a political agenda rather than sound scientific reasoning. "The best break a child can get is being born into a traditional family. "The globalists are constantly devising plans to lock the United States into a world government that erases national borders and diminishes national sovereignty. War, 'peacekeeping' escapades, and treaties are the means of incrementally achieving that goal."That was the lesson of Bill Clinton's 78 days of bombing of Yugoslavia -- a sovereign state that had never attacked another country. NATO was used as a vehicle since the bombing would have violated the United Nations Charter, which recognizes the sovereignty of nation-states. 'Human rights' provided the rhetoric to trump national sovereignty. "NATO Secretary-General Javier Solana boasted that the Yugoslav war moved us into 'a system of international relations in which human rights . . . are much more important than sovereignty.' Czech leader Vaclav Havel called the Yugoslav war 'an important precedent for the future' in which 'state sovereignty must inevitably dissolve.' "The globalists want to induce America to join European political, military, economic, and governmental bureaucracies in which the United States has only one vote. They already have conned us into joining the World Trade Organization where we have only one vote while the European Union has 15 votes and thus can easily manipulate the WTO's judicial system, which operates in secret. "Treaties play a major role in inducing the United States to submit to international regulations and monitoring. Every UN treaty would diminish U.S. sovereignty by interfering with self-government over some aspect of our lives, our business or our property. . . . "The globalists are trying to tell us that the ICC [International Criminal Court] really 'supports American values' and 'mirrors the Constitution.' That is false. U.S. constitutional protections against unfair prosecutions that are violated by the ICC include: (1) the right to trial by jury of one's peers (the most important protection), (2) the trial must be in the jurisdiction of the offense, (3) proof must be beyond reasonable doubt, (4) verdict for capital offenses must be unanimous, (5) warrants are necessary to seize and use evidence, (6) the state must provide exculpatory evidence, (7) compulsory process to obtain defense witnesses, and (8) the protection against double jeopardy (the ICC language is full of loopholes). "Senator Jesse Helms and Majority Whip Tom DeLay have tried valiantly to get Congress to pass the American Servicemembers' Protection Act to protect our troops from the ICC. This bill would cut off U.S. military aid to any country that ratifies the ICC, prohibit U.S. forces from participating in UN peacekeeping operations unless expressly immunized from ICC jurisdiction, and authorize the President to take any means 'necessary and appropriate' to free U.S. servicemenbers from ICC captivity. "Part of the reason liberals prefer invective to engagement is that . . . if Americans knew what they really believed, the public would boil them in oil."Liberals have been wrong about everything in the last half-century. "They were wrong about Stalin (praised in the New York Times and known as 'Uncle Joe' to Franklin Roosevelt). They were wrong about Reagan (won the Cold War and now polling as the greatest president of the twentieth century). They were wrong about the Soviet Union (defeated by the twentieth century's greatest president). They were wrong even about their precious 'Abraham Lincoln brigade' in the Spanish Civil War (the disgorging of Soviet archives proves that the Lincoln brigade was part of 'a rigidly controlled Soviet operation') They were wrong about Nicaragua (communist dictatorships in Latin America turned out not to be 'inevitable revolutions,' after all). They were wrong about welfare (since overhauled by Republicans to notable success). They were wrong about crime (Giuliani's achievement is evident in the number of candidates who promise to continue his policies). They were wrong about social security (now bankrupt). They were wrong about the Civil Rights Act (which was never going to be used as an instrument of discrimination against whites). They were wrong on the sexual revolution (witness the explosions of AIDS, herpes, chlamydia, hepatitis B, and abortion). "At first the One Worlders had little success. America was only the second nation in history whose basic law was the law of God. The Bible was quoted as THE LAW in court, in Congress and throughout society. The Bible was the final arbiter in most disputes. Most Americans had their priorities straight. "Vaccination and water fluoridation have something in common: Proponents of these forms of mass medication justify our one-size-fits-all exposure to them by publically proclaiming benefits that cannot be supported in science. The benefits are also not supported in field experience: Incidence of infectious and chronic disease is more common among vaccinated populations and tooth decay is more prevalent in communities that drink fluoridated water."So, neither fluoridation nor vaccination accomplish their stated objectives -- no matter how militantly they are forced into our bodies. "[T]he UN is using American tax dollars to underwrite a bizarre religious movement -- the Cult of Gaia. This belief in an 'Earth spirit,' goddess or planetary brain, is just as dangerous to the American way of life as radical Islam. . . ."In order to protect Gaia . . . the U.S. has to be prohibited from certain uses of the world's natural resources. "President Truman obtained UN authorization to send troops into Korea in 1950. Three presidents sent troops to Vietnam citing authority derived from SEATO, a UN subsidiary. George Bush (the elder) blatantly told Congress he didn't need its authority to attack Iraq in 1991 because he obtained authorization from the UN.
