Poems The Holidays
Posted here for 12-22-08.

The season is here -- so be jolly.
It's Christmas and News Years, by golly.
- - - Do celebrate now,
- - - For, sadly, somehow,
Quite soon will come frenzy and folly.

Poems Endangered Word
Posted here for 12-22-08.
"To Christmas," is what I will say
To toast and respect Christmas Day.
- - - But soon -- I'm not kiddin' --
- - - It may be forbidden,
If secularists have their way.

Poems Use the Correct Terminology
Posted here for 12-22-08.

It's not about winter, you see,
Or holiday fun, no sirree.
- - - A tree dressed in lights,
- - - On December nights
Has only one name: Christmas Tree!

Poems Christine Gregoire Is Very Symbol Minded
Posted here for 12-22-08.
The governor chose to create
A firey Christmas debate.
- - - She put on display,
- - - Before Christmas Day,
One symbol of love, one of hate.

Poems Note to Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich
Posted here for 12-15-08.

Please tell me how much I must pay
To buy, in the Senate today,
- - - The seat of Barack
- - - (He won't want it back)?
I'd like to use Visa. Okay?

Poems Easy Street
Posted here for 12-15-08.

Oh, you would be riding so high
If one Senate seat you could buy.
- - - You'd play quid pro quo,
- - - And roll in the dough,
And scheme, and then cheat, and then lie.

Poems Citizens Question Whether Barack Obama Is Qualified to be President
Posted here for 12-8-08.

He's not native born is their beef;
He can't be Commander in Chief.
- - - He'll have to step down
- - - And get out of town.
He tricked and deceived us. Good grief!

Poems Nancy Pelosi Raises a Fuss
Posted here for 12-1-08.

She grimaced and gave a loud shriek
When auto execs came to speak,
- - - Because jets they flew --
- - - And private ones, too.
But, heck, she does that twice a week!

Ms. Pelosi wasn't happy with the small private jet that comes with the Speaker's job, so she ordered a big, fat, fuel-guzzling, 200-seat jet that can fly her home to California without stopping! Since she only works 3 days a week, she makes the trip frequently, and each time she flies, it costs the taxpayers about $60,000, one way! Round trip: $120,000, or some $480,000 per month.

Pelosi and company are outraged that auto CEOs used private jets to get to the DC meeting. Yet she flies about six times as far -- and uses much more fuel -- on a frequent basis! She demands we conserve our carbon footprint. She wants us to buy smaller cars. Obama wants us to pump up our tires! These people are disgusting.

Poems Hard Times Ahead I
Posted here for 11-24-08.

We look to the future and see
Both chaos and adversity.
- - - But what can be done?
- - - We can't hide or run,
Just watch it play out on TV.

Poems Hard Times Ahead II
Posted here for 11-24-08.

The handwriting is on the wall:
We're due for a ht and a fall.
- - - Obama, it's true,
- - - Won't know what to do.
We may not recover at all.

Poems An Obama Presidency
Posted here for 11-17-08.

At first I thought: We can endure,
We'll surely be safe and secure.
- - - We'll weather the storm,
- - - Survive his "reform."
But now I'm not really so sure.

Poems Consequences
Posted here for 11-10-08.

By rhetoric dazzlingly deft,
We've chosen to make a hard left.
- - - But values we cherish
- - - We may find will perish;
Just snatched in a startling theft.

Poems President Obama?
Posted here for 11-3-08.

It looks like this country may get
The most leftist President yet.
- - - He's handsome and cool.
- - - He makes lib'rals drool.
But choosing him we'll all regret.

Poems Thinking about the Possibility Obama Might Win the Election - I
Posted here for 10-27-08.

If ACORN finds means to arrange
Vote tampering -- 'twoudn't be strange --
- - - Then after the drama,
- - - Our leader's Obama.
Right then I'll start hoping for change!

Poems Thinking about the Possibility Obama Might Win the Election - II
Posted here for 10-27-08.

Throughout this entire campaign
Our enemies hoped John McCain
- - - Would run out the clock
- - - And lose to Barack;
So they can start sipping champagne.

Poems Representative Tim Mahoney, the Florida Democrat Who Replaced Disgraced Republican Mark Foley in 2006, Paid $121,000 to a Staffer with Whom He Had an Affair
Posted here for 10-20-08.

There once was a fellow, Mahoney,
Who turned out to be quite a phony.

His promises all were baloney.

Poems Is This Country Ready for Obama's Radical Liberalism?
Posted here for 10-13-08.

The freedoms we love could collapse
If he's in control, and his chaps.
- - - His views are extreme;
- - - They're not what they seem.
Will he be elected? Perhaps.

Poems The Rewards of Being a Responsible U.S. Citizen
Posted here for 10-13-08.

You work and you sweat for your pay.
You put in long hours each day.
- - - But when you behave,
- - - What you try to save,
The government taketh away.

Poems Politicians
Posted here for 10-6-08.

Republicans! They are a curse.
They empty the national purse.
- - - They're selfish, they're dumb,
- - - Each one is a bum.
But Democrats! They're ten times worse!

Poems Which Candidates Care More about America than Themselves?
Posted here for 9-29-08.

Obama and Biden? Well, no.
McCain and Palin? Perhaps so.

- - - There's just no debate.
Two don't pass the test: Barack, Joe.

Poems Democrats Created the Economic Crisis, and Now They Use It for Political Gain
Posted here for 9-29-08.

They're good at the game quid pro quo,
To win fame and power and dough.

- - - For what's clearly right
For U.S.A.? My goodness no!.

Poems Sarah Palin
Posted here for 9-22-08.

Oh, Sarah, I think I love you.
Conservative -- yes -- through and through!
- - - Your thinking is Right.
- - - The Right you excite.
You're almost too good to be true.

Poems Instilling Attitudes, Values, and Beliefs in the Kids
Posted here for 9-15-08.

The kids are now all back in school
Where PC's the new Golden Rule.
- - - They're not taught to think,
- - - But follow -- wink, wink --
Dead on, leftist dogma. That's cruel!

Poems The Democrat National Convention in Denver
Posted here for 9-1-08.

I watched the convention, was awed.
The packaging: slick! I applaud.

- - - Confetti was flowing.
The candidate, though: greatly flawed.

Poems The "Drive-By" Media and Governor Sarah Palin

How much are you willing to pay
To blacks for the suffering they

- - - An eon or so?
They're all dead and burried today.

Poems Calling the Kettle Black
Posted here for 8-11-08.

Don't listen to scientists, who

- - - Who tries to ignore
The millions his hoaxes accrue.

Poems John Edwards' Passion

The Greens are the ones we should blame.

Poems Barack Obama: Black, White, or ?
Posted here for 6-16-08.

He is half Caucasian from ma,
Two-fifths* Arabic from his pa.
- - - Alas and alack,
- - - He's just one-tenth* black!
So blackness is his last hurrah.

* This reference indicates Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian, 43.75% Arabic, and 6.25% African Negro. So why, pray tell, is there such rejoicing over the "First black presidential candidate in American history," if indeed he's 93.25% non-black?

Poems Environmentalists Take Over

Refineries? Not in the mix.
New nuclear plants? They say "Nix!"

And that's only one of their tricks.

Poems Is the Fat Lady About to Sing?

- - - They said, John McCain.
But all three are fatally flawed!

Like Ross Perot in '92?

Poems Obama Equals Change

He travels the Far Left Turnpike.
- - - He only will play
- - - The socialist way.
He's just what the media like.

Poems You Must Vote for Obama
Posted here for 5-12-08.

Just how, pray tell, will you be seen,
By folks like the Dem's Howard Dean,
- - - If you or your momma
- - - Don't vote for Obama?
Quite racist. Yes, evil. And mean.

Poems The Religion of Environmentalism
Posted here for 5-5-08.

Please pray to and for the Good Earth,
To Gaia, for all that you're worth!
- - - Bow down to the greens,

And do celebrate Al Gore's birth.

Poems Muslims Pray
Posted here for 4-28-08.

If I were a Muslim, I'd know

- - - On knees, nose to butt.
I think I'd prefer the first row!

(Source of photo.)

Muslims pray.

Poems Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama
Posted here for 4-21-08.

The Democrat story is sad.
Each candidate clearly has had
- - - Time now to expose
- - - The other one's woes,
And prove that both choices are bad.

Poems Pope Benedict's Visit to the U.S.
Posted here for 4-21-08.

He said the U.S. wasn't bad,
But good, in remarks that he had.
- - - His audience, global,
- - - Heard him say we're noble!
That must make the liberals mad.

Poems Monetary Trouble
Posted here for 4-14-08.

The dollar is not doing well.
It's value is down, can't you tell?

- - - How low will it go?
Indeed, is it going to hell?

Poems Geraldine Ferraro Criticizes Barack Obama
Posted here for 4-7-08.

Obama, in Ferrano's view,

Posted here for 3-17-08.

He's wealthy, with millions, by gum,
Was happy, according to some.
- - - He garnered success,
- - - But now: what a mess!
Old Spitzer is stunningly dumb!

Poems The Candidates
Posted here for 3-10-08.

McCain is now over the wall.
Obama is still riding tall.
- - - With Hillary's clout,
- - - You can't count her out.
I'm already sick of them all!

Poems Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. -- Again
Posted here for 3-3-08.

If he is the pick of the pack,

Poems The Senior Senator from Arizona Keeps Changing His Story
Posted here for 2-4-08.

McCain seems to have quite a knack

- - - But he'll vacillate.
His "Straight-Talk Express" is off track.

Poems The Senior Senator from Arizona is Wrong on So Many Key Issues

Who gives them. It's her hubby, Bill!

Poems Feigning Morality
Posted here for 1-14-08.

Some lefties, it now must be said,
Hear "water-boarding" and see red!
- - - But they don't complain
- - - Nor show much disdain
When terrorists cut off a head.

Poems Liberal Hate
Posted here for 1-14-08.

Just how far would liberals go
To sabotage George Bush's show?

- - - To foes we abhor?
Would lib'rals? Apparently so.

Poems Mike Huckabee in Iowa

The "Huckster" surprised one and all

- - - A damaging hit,
But now will his momentum stall?

Poems Mitt Romney in Iowa
Posted here for 1-7-08.
The "Mittster" was beaten, for sure.
It seems he has lost some allure.
- - - In spite of his cash,
- - - Will his campaign crash?
Or will he steadfastly endure?

Poems Hillary Clinton in Iowa - I
