I was reviewing the July 1969 Harmonizer pages (on the BHS site) and found this photo on one of the St. Louis Convention photo collage pages. I clipped it, enhanced it and saved as a jpg.

Our 'Poughkeepsie Newyorkers' banner was prominently hung for all to see.
This was in a chorus warm-up venue and was typical of what we did in the early years.
I was a newbie NYer then so all I did was show up and sing.
But I was truly impressed when Diane and I arrived at the St. Louis airport and a NYers welcoming committee had
rolled out a red carpet on the tarmac and applauded as we deplaned. Wow! And who was in charge of 'banner hanging?'
Another great hoopla job! -- Bob Chieffo.
