A Washington Post story (1-14-00) confirms that the White House made a secret deal with major networks to review/edit programming content to be broadcast. In payment, government penalties with regard to drug advertising were waived. Evidence has been uncovered indicating the White House conspired with networks to assure that conservatives and other 'enemies of the President' were kept off the air.

"California murderer William Bonin received $75,000 in tax-paid disability benefits for his claim to be mentally ill while he sat on death row for 14 years. the law bars felons from receiving such monies, but the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program paid Bonin for years by mistake." "The Head Start program in Tulsa, Oklahoma [government funded] that educated economically disadvantaged children, authorized nurses to perform invasive physical examinations on 3, 4, and 5-year-old children. These exams included the drawing of blood and genital examinations. None of the children's parents were informed or given an opportunity to object to these examinations. Many of the children voiced their distress and objected to the examinations while they were taking place."

In 1998 there were 116 reported rapes per 100,000 people (and many unreported) compared with 34 rapes per 100,000 in the United States. . . .
